Setting High Standards

A hillside vineyard in the Red Hills Appellation.

The topography of our vineyard, along with setting high standards, has proven to consistently grow exceptional fruit. The altitude, with warm to hot days, and cool nights along with the rich, red volcanic soil all lend to producing our ultra-premium grapes.

Our 20 acres of Zinfandel is grown on St. George, Clone 2 & 6. Our twenty-five year old vines average a yield of 90 tons per year, and usually are harvested at around 27 Brix. Over the years, the winemakers have been thoroughly pleased with our grapes, and have produced superior wines.

Extraordinary Taste

Our Zinfandel has been described as dark ruby in color. On the nose, concentrated dark berries and warm spice. With great body and depth, flavors of blackberry jam, plums, and vanilla, followed by a touch of white pepper.

Our Current Contracts

We are currently selling our Zinfandel to a single buyer. We’ve been extremely fortunate to have a close working relationship with Rombauer, and have enjoyed many years of success with them.
